Multan is the third largest city in the province of Punjab and is popularly known as the City of Shrines: with city expansion comes increased population which exerted extra pressure on the city traffic system and therefore this problem forced the Government of Punjab to start the project called ‘BRT-Multan Metro Bus System (MBBS), These changes are aimed at improving and making transport available at a reasonable price.
With regard to Multan, a similar amenity was anticipated because this service turned out to be quite beneficial for Lahore. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif commenced MBBS project in May 2015.
